Look at me
I have been watching the Olympics. I confess to an odd fascination with curling
Watching it can be a bit dull – I want to play! Understand that I am not good at any sport – at school, I was always the last to get picked. Really. Even the girl-of-size got picked before me. She was in goal. I didn’t share her blocking power. These days I could give her a run for her money.

Recently, I have noticed an odd thing – people don’t remove the “keeper stitch” on jacket vents. You know the one – like a big X at the bottom of a vent on the lower edge of the back of a jacket. It is placed there by the manufacturer to keep the vent flap from curling while on display. Similarly, the pockets on the front of jackets (and some trousers) are stitched closed to stop them drooping. I leave those in – jackets and pants look better with closed pockets. Enough of my own stuff droops without any help from my pockets.
Anywho, I digress …
