Anywho, I digress …

Loosely based on what might have happened. Or not.

Jazz Chicken

Smooth

I went to see Eddie Izzard last night at the Oracle Coliseum.   His style is unique, using history as a framework for his rambling thoughts on odd stuff.  He gets distracted from his framework quite often, and so I was waiting for him to say …

Anywho, I digress …

But he didn’t.  However, he did mention the Jazz Chicken quite few times 😀

His definition of Opera – rich people watching fat people being shaken by small people – was a high point.  A friend of mine defines opera as, a lot of fat people shouting.  Both definitions work for me.

Other memorable quotes:

It is not a plague of frogs, there are just more than usual
Moses has gone. Let’s smelt!

He is obsessed with wikipedia and uses a twitter stream to entertain the audience before the show and during the interval.

Rar!

OK, maybe you just had to be there 🙂

Lisa.
