Over the past couple of months, Alan has shown an unfortunate interest in skunks.  The consequences up until last night resulted in some uncontrolled barking.  Irritating, but not a big deal.  Until last night.

Yesterday was super busy and I was looking forward to a quiet night.  And it was, until about 10pm when all hell broke loose.

Alan chased a skunk into a neighbor’s garden where he got sprayed.

I gave him a peroxide/bicarb/soap bath.

Stinky McStinkerton still stinks.

I stink.

The house stinks.

Apologies to all who need to be close to Alan/me/the house over the next week or so …
