Wordy flapdoodle

I got a Kindle for Christmas. I had forgotten that it was on my Amazon Wishlist, but what a great surprise!
I got the DX which has the bigger screen. I thought it would be good for reading newspapers. As it turns out, newspapers on the Kindle are a bit crap. Few pictures, fewer articles than the print or online versions, not updated during the day like the online versions and a pain to navigate. I actually prefer newspapers on my Blackberry!
Anywho, I digress …
The awesome thing about the Kindle is the integrated dictionary – I have mentioned before my fascination with words. Reading a book and being able to instantly look up a word in the dictionary is splendid. The first book I read on the Kindle was Bright Sided by Barbara Ehrenreich. I decided to keep a list of all the words I looked up. Some were totally new to me and some I just wanted to confirm my understanding.

An odd list. My personal favorite? Quantum Flapdoodle of course 🙂
