Anywho, I digress …

Loosely based on what might have happened. Or not.

Wordy knickers

Posted by episode81 on May 30, 2009

I came across this article the other day about words that people like and dislike.

I have maintained a list of words and names that I like for a few years. Yes, really.  I started it just to answer the question – if I could pick any name for myself, what would it be?

A couple of years ago, I met a lady who had changed her name to something that reminded me of a laxative.  Trying to suppress a giggle, I asked her why she chose that name.  She said she picked the name of a common, but distinctive roadside weed that grew in her neighborhood during her childhood.  I didn’t add it to my list 😉  The astute amongst you will know that I have not changed my name … yet.

Anywho, I digress …

As I spend the odd moment thinking about words to keep my list up-to-date, here are the ones that I like:

And the ones I don’t like?  The list is surprisingly short:

  • Gob

Quite simply, the most ghastly word.   Ghastly?  I like that word 😉

Oh, and getting back to the article, I do not object to panties, but it is not a word I use.  I am a knickers girl.

TMI?

Lisa.
