Mmmm. Orange!

I still love my new Kindle – even more now that it has a stylish orange cover 🙂  I love orange.  I love my Kindle.  Life is good.

Anywho, I digress …

The second book I read on my Kindle was True Blue by David Baldacci.  Like the first book, I kept a list of words that I looked up in the built-in dictionary.  The most profound difference?  None of the words I tried to look up were actually words!

Not so Wordy Knickers:

• Carey cars – Possibly a limo company
• Hoodle – A place where police in cars hang out during their shift
• Hoopties – Old junked cars
• Huckabuck – A street thug

Who knew?  I won’t be weaving these into my daily lexicon.
