The green is much brighter than it looks 🙂

I have mentioned before that I love Vibram FiveFingers.  I also mentioned – on October 27th 2009 – that I was waiting for my second pair.  They finally arrived – woot!  But they were not the color (vivid blue) that I ordered – unwoot.  But they were a nice slate blue, bright green combo – woot!

The Sprint is much more comfortable than the Classic.  No rubbing on my heel.  It really feels like bare feet and my toes are happy, happy, happy!

Anywho, I digress …

Zombie Runner called to let me know that they were in.  They seemed very keen for me to get there fast:

Zombie Runner: When can you come in and get them?

Me: The weekend.

ZR: What day?

Me: Saturday.

ZR: What time?

Me: Oh, maybe 2-ish.  Maybe later.

ZR: I need an exact time.

Me: OK. 2.

ZR: Can you come in before the weekend?

Me: Er.  Friday?

ZR: What time?

Me: How about 2?  <takes a moment> Or should I come earlier?

ZR: No, that is fine.  Please be on time.  If you are late ….

Me: <penny finally drops> I’ll be there.

And I was.  At 1.45!  When I got there, other people were coming in at 15 minute intervals to collect theirs.  I knew they were popular, but really.  I felt like an addict.
