Anywho, I digress …

Loosely based on what might have happened. Or not.

Foot note

Odd looking but curiously comfy

I like shoes.  Not as much as handbags, but I like them.  The last pair I bought are kind of odd, so I have been looking at people’s feet to see who else has them.  I was at the airport a couple of days ago, and so I continued my foot study there.

I was waiting at the gate  …. I was too early as usual, so I got to see everyone arrive.  They were all wearing boots or clumpy shoes and heavy coats.  I was on my way to New York in flip flops and a t-shirt. Under-dressed?  Much?  Ahem.  No odd shoes in sight.

Anywho, I digress …

Nice!

The odd looking shoes are Vibram FiveFingers Classics.  They are not odd, they are really odd!  When I was trying them on at Zomblie Runner in Palo Alto, the guy warned me that they were a bit hard to get on.  Somewhat of an understatement.  I ended up with a really red face and a film of sweat, but I got them on.  WooHoo!! Well worth the effort.  He was also right that it gets easier.  I love them.  My next pair?  The Sprint, in blue.  Oh yes.

I know what you’re thinking.  Did I take them to New York.  Hell no!  It rains. A lot. For days at a time.

Lisa.
