Odd

I enjoy a leisurely morning.  Cup of tea in bed.  Read a magazine.  Surf the web.  Bliss.

I think I particularly enjoy the sloth aspect because my mum spent years trying to get me to spring out of bed at the weekends.  I was a … grumpy child.  She finally gave up when she managed to rouse me at 11am one morning only for me to faint in the kitchen.  To this day I cannot just jump out of bed without a light head and a major wobble.  I need to take a moment.

Yey!  Justified sloth!

Anywho, I digress …

The other day, I was reading in bed while Alan got busy barking his head off in the garden.  Finally I got up to see what the fuss was.

He was intent on barking at something in the neighbors yard.  The fences are high and are not overlooked by windows – he was just barking at nothing.  I called him and he ignored me, so I walked over to him.  At some point I looked over to see the neighbor, up a ladder, cleaning his gutters.  Right around that time I realized I was naked.

Apparently I can still run quite fast.
